What's on
Short, free, hands-on sessions โ the same style of experiment as our paid course, but here there's nothing to sign up for and nothing to take home. Come for one, or come for all of them.
-
Taste the Power
A multimeter, on yourself. Find out how much your own resistance changes when your fingers are wet โ and how much less it takes than you'd think to feel it on your tongue.
-
The fuse that's meant to blow
A dead short, on purpose, behind a line, with safety glasses on. Then we explain why the fuse popping was the circuit working exactly as designed.
-
The lemon that won't light a globe
A battery made from fruit makes real volts โ and still won't light an LED. Find out why voltage alone isn't the whole story.
-
Try the breadboard
Press your own first circuit together under guidance โ a battery, a resistor, an LED โ and watch it light up in your hands.
This isn't a sales pitch. Nobody is signed up for anything and there's nothing to buy on the day. If your child enjoys it and wants to go further, we run a term-length course afterwards โ but that's a separate thing, and coming along here doesn't commit you to it.
